Professor at UTFPR, with a background in Mathematics (Licentiate Degree), Electrical Engineering (Dynamic Systems/Control and Automation in Agriculture), Agronomy (Crop Production/Alternative Plant Protection), and Data Science. Leader and Founder of GruCoPEM. Collaborates with GPEAT and Salas Verdes (Endorsement by the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment). Research interests focus on Environmental Education with a STSE approach (Science, Technology, Society, and Environment), the teaching of Science and Mathematics mediated by technologies, formative processes in collaborative contexts, and so-called wicked problems (complex and persistent challenges). She also works on science popularization through the Plural Spaces of M@temáticAÇÃO (M@themACTION), developing teaching-learning practices based on active learning methodologies, in multi-, inter-, and/or transdisciplinary perspectives.
