Cherukula Madhu is a seasoned academician with 14 years of teaching experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Cherukula Madhu has significantly contributed to the academic community through extensive research and publication in high-impact Q1 journals. He completed his PHD on the research titled “Analytically Interpretable Strategies for Multimodal Data Classification” for doctoral degree from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, India, With a cumulative impact factor exceeding 45, Cherukula Madhu's research work has been widely recognized for its depth and innovation. His research interests lie in the realms of interpretable machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), image processing, and graph theory, addressing contemporary challenges and pushing the boundaries of current technological advancements. Throughout his career, Cherukula Madhu has demonstrated a profound commitment to academic excellence and student development. He has successfully guided 20 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate projects, nurturing the next generation of engineers and researchers. In addition to teaching and research, Cherukula Madhu has taken on multiple administrative roles, including additional controller of examinations, timetable coordinator, class in-charge, year in-charge, mentor, IETE student chapter coordinator, exam cell coordinator, and placement coordinator. An active member of IEEE, Cherukula Madhu has also served as a reviewer for prestigious journals such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, and the Journal of Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, along with two international conferences. Moreover, Cherukula Madhu is a co-inventor of a patent (Filed) related to speech processing applications for voice assistants, further showcasing his innovative contributions to the field.
