I am a PhD student in Sociology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). My current position is that of a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Observatory InCiTe (Innovation, Citizenship, Technoscience), where I am also a member of the Research Group Science, Communication Society. My academic background includes a degree in Executive Secretariat from the Federal University of Viçosa (2006) and the completion of the Master 1 program in Latin American Studies at the University Paris-3 Sorbonne Nouvelle (2015). Currently, I serve as executive secretary at the Science Communication Office of UFMG. My research focuses on the interrelationships between science, society, and communication, with the objective of fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of science as a public good. My objective is to contribute to the construction of a more informed, critical, and participatory society through the dissemination of scientific knowledge and engagement with different audiences.
