Matthaios Petrelis

About

Matthaios Georgios Petrelis graduated on 2005 from the Physiotherapy Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (now University of West Attica). He pursued postgraduate studies at the Hellenic Open University of Patra, Greece, obtaining MSc in Health Care Management in 2019. His MSc Thesis was "Translation and validation of the Greek version of the Somatic Symptom Scale-8 (SSS-8) in patients with chronic low back pain". Since the start of his professional career in 2006, he has worked as a freelance and aw full-time employee in rehabilitation, paediatric and physiotherapy centres. He is certified in various physiotherapeutic approaches e.g. Bobath/NDT, Halliwick-Therapy. He is involved in national and international congresses, with oraI/poster presentations and has published several papers in national peer-reviewed journals.
