Dr. Olalekan Lekings Abdulrasheed Ogunjimi
About
Ogunjimi Olalekan is a scholar of Computing. He holds a BSc (Maths), MSc (OR), MSc (IT), and Ph.D in Computer Science. He is Head of Computer Sciences Department at Phoenix University Agwada, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Dr. Ogunjimi is a native of Shagamu in Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State. He attended Badia Primary School, Badia, and the Gaskiya College, Ijora Badia, from 1984 to 1989; and University of Lagos, Akoka, where he obtained a B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics with Computer Science degree, and was the best graduating student with Second Class in 1995. He obtained a M.Sc (Operations Research) University of Lagos, Akoka, in 1999; and a Ph.D Computer Science (Coherent Optical Information Sciences) from the University of Electrocommunication Chofu Japan, in 2008. His research interests include: Mobile computing, Internet programming, e-Business, e-Government, ICT and Computing in general. He is a member of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), and Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN). Similarly, he is professionally certified by Cybrary, Brainbench, and Microsoft. Dr. Ogunjimi is a member of a number of international research bodies such as the Centre for Business Information, Organization and Process Management (BIOPoM), Journal of Information and communication Technology for Human Development (IJICTHD), International Journal of Scientific Research in Education (IJSRE) and African Journal of Business Management amongst others. Furthermore, Dr. Ogunjimi was an Adjuncts Lecturer to a number of Nigerian universities at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels; has supervised about 200 postgraduate projects at Postgraduate Diploma and Masters levels, and publications in scholarly journals and conference proceedings.
