Susanna Kohonen

About

Since 2004, a Lecturer in Academic and Legal English at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), Joensuu campus and online - since 2015, increasingly online. From Jan 2021 to Dec 2024, I worked in a Digital Pedagogy Facilitator team at the UEF, developing peer support, pedagogy, digital pedagogy, and blended learning pedagogy in collaboration with the team, colleagues, and the university support services. From Jan 2025 to Dec 2026, pedagogical development is my main focus. I have a PhD in Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics. My praxis and research interests are in embodied and engaged learning, critical (digital) pedagogy, holistic higher education, applied drama, the posthumanist stance, and Legal English.
