Utpal Dhar Das

About

Dr. Utpal Dhar Das, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Data Science, SSES, Sharda University, Greater Noida. He earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi and holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from Assam Central University, Silchar, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics at the University of North Bengal, Siliguri, West Bengal. Dr. Das is highly proficient in R and Python, with core research interests in Statistical Inference, Distribution Theory, Time Series Analysis, Simulation, Stochastic Processes, Bayesian Inference, and Machine Learning. He has authored 24 research papers published in reputed journals indexed in SCIE, Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC CARE, gaining both national and international recognition.
